London, as a major metropolitan city, faces significant shortcomings in the response time and efficiency of its transport and emergency medical systems. The city’s specific security and cultural conditions further contribute to the uneven distribution of areas requiring urgent medical assistance. In this context, how to restructure time, responsibility and levels of intervention within the emergency response system becomes a critical question.
In response, I designed a medical emergency response system from a future-oriented perspective, rethinking the hierarchy of medical response, emergency transport equipment, the visual identity of the medical system, and its target users. Throughout the design process, I integrated London’s cultural context, geographical characteristics and population distribution into the proposed low-altitude medical system, establishing a rapid-response network centred around a low-altitude medical backpack
